At Spring Valley Ford, we’re proud to say that our new Ford truck lineup draws in drivers from Princeton to Ottawa and all points in between. Of course, much of its popularity is tied to nameplates like the new Ford F-150. This outstanding half-ton truck is the leader in its segment, and to prove it, we’ve broken down how it compares to some of the top trims of rivals trucks like the new Ram 1500.
Ford F-150 XL vs. Ram 1500 Tradesman
These trims represent the work truck level for both models, so they’re usually meant for daily driving and commercial applications. However, while both are no nonsense options with little in the way of added bells and whistles, the new Ford F-150 XL still manages to top the Ram 1500 Tradesman by offering more standard horsepower, LED automatic headlights, and a larger standard touchscreen infotainment system.
Ford F-150 King Ranch vs. Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn
These higher end trims are geared towards Granville and La Salle drivers who want a more luxurious and upscale truck. Both come well-equipped with features and tech, but the new Ford F-150 King Ranch does offer a few notable features that are missing from the equipment list of the Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn. From massaging leather-upholstered front seats to a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, the new Ford F-150 King Ranch is the more well-rounded of these two trucks.
Ford F-150 Raptor vs. Ram 1500 Rebel
These two trims are best suited for rugged off-roading. However, the new Ford F-150 Raptor is undoubtedly the more capable of the two. While the Ram 1500 Rebel is may offer an upgraded suspension and all-terrain tires, the Ford F-150 Raptor has even larger all-terrain tires, FOX® off-road shock absorbers, and a bold Raptor-specific exterior design that commands respect wherever you go.
